The Landyachtz Evo was designed as a downhill race board. The deck shape gives the rider a 2” drop offering a more stable platform while the angled nose and de-wedged tail makes the board steer from the front truck, making for the most stable ride. Over the past two years the Evo has won more World cup Downhill Skateboard races than any other speedboard. Although this board was designed with racing in mind the shape has become popular for free riding as it allows the rider super secure foot placement. The EVO is 11ply construction with 22 degree wedge at the front and 22 degree de-wedge in the rear.
A wicked board for both downhilling and for all around riding. The Evos moderate ride height makes it a perfect board for carving and getting around. A wide platform in the front gives you stability and more room to shift your foot from a tuck position to a turning position. LandyachtzLandyachtz started in the fall of 1997 when Michael Perreten and Thomas Edstrand met up at the University of Victoria. They had been friends and skated together in elementary school but had not seen each other in years. Growing up on the Northshore of Vancouver they were exposed to skating steep hills at a very young age.
