MBS Tom Kirkman Pro 100 Deck - Tom Kirkman has set a new standard in the sport of mountainboarding and MBS is proud to be giving him the technology he needs to push the envelope even further with the release of his own pro model. But it’s not just the name or the stylish graphic (inspired by Tom’s own sketches) that makes this deck so special. We’ve also redesigned the core and lay-up to make this deck stiffer, stronger, and poppier than ever before. We’re really proud of Tom and his new deck. We think you will be too. Reverse Cap Composite construction (RCC) consists of a composite structure (epoxy with fiberglass or other high end fibers such as carbon or kevlar) wrapped around a full-length vertically laminated wood core. The bottom surface of the deck is wrapped upward to meet the top surface during the molding process to protect the edge and provide the best sliding surface possible. MBS RCC decks included stainless steel inserts for mounting F-series bindings. |
