Highland - Flare 50

The Highland Flare 50 has been designed for the smaller riders looking for their first streetboard. The board might be smaller but the quality and strength is the same!

This board is an excellent starting point for streetboarding and is just as tough as all Highland's range. It has the mercury trucks and standard pivots and could be upgraded in time to a wider bar to give the full stance if required. This is an excellent board at a great start price.

Board Features

The Bar:
* Made from the Highest possible quality and strength of 9 ply Canadian Maple
* 50cm stance means a more stable ride and makes it possible to move the board faster than with a smaller stance.
* 23cm effective edge
* 9cm wide bar neck for extra strength
* The centre of the bar is 22cm wide

The Footplates:
* Made from the Highest possible quality and strength of 9 ply Canadian Maple
* Multiple binding hole options, ready countersunk and nicely finished
*23cm wide, 10.5cm long nose/tail on footplates.
* Perfect angle on the kick for great control

Mercury Trucks:
* Hardened steel axle encased in aluminium.
* Rounded Blunt plates for easier blunts and faster slides
* Blunts extended over grinding surface to help prevent hang-ups
* Extra thick alloy casing around axle for a longer grind life
* Strengthening around both sides of blunts, helps stop axle bending where it meets the wheel.

Pivot system:
* O.G. WSA Standard

Wheels:
58mm 95a wheels fitted with Abec 5 bearings
