One of pet hates in the water sports lifestyle that I encounter is\u00a0dealing with a damp, smelly wetsuit after a heavy session on the water, nor do I enjoy sliding that cold wet thing on having pulled it out of a small stuff sack that sits in a puddle of salt water in the back of the van. For me it’s just a pain staking process that no water sports lover should encounter whether a 10 year veteran or just starting out. In the coldness of England (both Summer and Winter) it can be pretty difficult to designate an area inside the house or garage (when its not sunny and raining outside) where a wetsuit will dry effectively without creating a mess on the floor. So\u00a0surely I cannot be the only person who faces these problems.<\/p>\n

On returning to the shop after a season abroad where no wetsuit is required only to find my wetsuit once again in a stuff-sack STILL DAMP\u00a0from the summer before, I was presented with a heavenly solution by my boss that was so simple, it seemed\u00a0too good to be true.<\/p>\n

Introducing the DRY Bag, the answer to my problems and hopefully all of those seeking an answer to theirs also. No longer is my wetsuit damp and without a permanent storage solution, no longer will I and everyone else endure soggy, wet and freezing cold wetsuits that have gained a spine twitching smell during their weeks of drying time. The DRY Bag is the wetsuit equivalent\u00a0to a suit jacket bag that instead of dripping down onto the floor or back seat of your car, collects at the bottom of the bag to be released using a bottom plug.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t stop there, the DRY Bag acts as a mini waterproof oven which traps heat while at the same time allows plenty of airflow using positioned mesh which vents away any moisture. The bag is waterproof also meaning you can thoughtlessly hang it in the back of your shiny new car without worrying about it dripping all over your seats! For maximum results usually, leaving your suit in the sun is the answer for most, however UV rays have been known to damage neoprene and significantly reduce the quality of the suit. The DRY Bag is UV protected keeping your wetsuit dry and protected against the sun\u00a0increasing the life time\u00a0of the suit.<\/p>\n

\nOption 1: The DRY Bag Pro<\/a><\/strong><\/center>The DRY Bag Pro offers a better overall seal by featuring two smaller sized vents on the sides at the top of the bag. This keeps your wetsuit nicely locked away to prevent any accidental spillage of the reservoir at the bottom of the bag\u00a0while at the same time keeping it real nice and toasty inside. With a waterproof inner and outer you can even leave you wetsuit out in the rain and it will continue to dry. The DRY Bag Pro is a good option for the business man or car owner with little space that cant run the risk of getting\u00a0the inside of the company car wet.<\/p>\n

Option 2: The DRY Bag Elite<\/a><\/strong><\/center>The DRY Bag Elite was my choice of the two as it offers better airflow using a singular large vent at the front of the bag resulting in a faster overall drying time than the DRY Bag Pro. Although the water collection reservoir at the bottom is not as secure with the larger mesh panel at the front\u00a0and it cannot be thrown around as freely when drying. The DRY Bag Elite is designed for the conventional surfer van man\u00a0who has the space to keep it hung up in the back in order for it to dry quicker.<\/p>\n

This DRY Bag has changed the way I look after my wetsuit in to a hassle free experiance. Now all I have to do is chuck it in the bag, hang it up in the back of the van and forget about it while I rest assured knowing that wherever my wetsuit is; it’s protected, it’s drying, it’s not creating more mess for me and most importantly the next time I put it on, IT WILL BE DRY!<\/p>\n
