Brand new for 2017 is the MADD MGP VX7 Mini Pro Scooter! The Mini Pro takes the MGP Pro and scales it down for younger grom riders that want all the performance but want a shorter scooter deck and bars to make the tricks easier for their size. Younger riders that rip have pushed MADD to create this model. The deck is shortened down to 17in long rather than the 19in on the pro. The bars have come down to 22in high by 18in wide and can also be easily cut to be shorter. The MGP Mini Pro also has the steel fork from the VX6 Pro which keeps the cost down to make it amazing value for money!
Compared to the VX6 Pro apart from the size this now has a new integrated sealed mfx headset! The MGP Mini Pro has good sized bars and deck for younger progressing riders that don't want the extra weight and size of the pro or team models. The height of the bars are 22in with 18in width and they are also now standard sized with mini hic (IHC) compression with the sealed headset. No need to worry though if you think the bars are too high, they can easily be cut down to suit the smaller rider.
On the MADD VX7 Mini Pro, the 4in deck has been shortened to 17in and lightened yet again. However, this doesn't mean that you will be sacrificing on strength. The VX7 Mini Pro deck is made from 6061 T4 and T6 heat treated alloy with 3 degrees of concave. This concave makes it easier to flick your whips and control your scooter. The inner of the deck is fluted which is what takes away some of the weight without losing any strength. It also includes Madd's signature forged one piece downtube.
The bars on the MADD VX7 Pro measure in at 22" High x 18" Wide and are made from 4031 Japanese chromoly. They are a fluted T-bar with upsweep which are very stylish and have been very popular lately. Madd have put their Squid Grips which are super soft and comfy. The VX7 Pro also comes with Madd's MFX sealed integrated headset, one of the smoothest on the market, which is fitted onto their own threadless alloy fork using HIC compression.
This scooter runs 100mm 88A alloy core spoked wheels with a high rebound urethane. This means your wheels with be nice and durable enough to keep you rolling for longer. The bearings used are the K2 ABEC 9's and to top it all off Madd have used their awesome MGP composite flex brake.
