Brand new for 2017 is the MADD MGP VX7 range! Here we have the VX7 Pro in Red, which to this day remains the best value for money pro scooter on the market. If you are looking for a first scooter, then look no further. The MGP Pro was the original scooter that launched MADD into the front of the scooter market and that is not lost on the current MGP Pro model.
The MGP Pro in MADD's range has always been the go to scooter and now there is some serious spec for the money in this scooter. Compared to the VX6 this now has a new alloy fork and integrated sealed mfx headset! The MGP Pro has good sized bars and deck for progressing riders that don't want the extra weight and size of the team model. The height of the bars are 23in and they are also now standard sized with mini hic (IHC) compression with the sealed headset. No need to worry though if you think the bars are too high, they can easily be cut down to suit the smaller rider or they also now do a Mini Pro version for juniors.
On the MADD VX7 Pro, the 4in deck has been lightened yet again. However, this doesn't mean that you will be sacrificing on strength. The VX7 Pro deck is made from 6061 T4 and T6 heat treated alloy with 3 degrees of concave. This concave makes it easier to flick your whips and control your scooter. The inner of the deck is fluted which is what takes away some of the weight without losing any strength. It also includes Madd's signature forged one piece downtube.
The bars on the VX7 Pro measure in at 23" High x 21" Wide and are made from 4031 Japanese chromoly. They are a fluted T-bar with upsweep which are very stylish and have been very popular lately. Madd have put their 130mm TPR Grind Grips with a nice and strong nylon bar end. This reduces injuries from being hit by the hollow end of the bars! The VX7 Pro also comes with Madd's MFX sealed integrated headset, one of the smoothest on the market, which is fitted onto their own threadless alloy fork using HIC compression.
This scooter runs 100mm 88A alloy core spoked wheels with a high rebound urethane. This means your wheels with be nice and durable enough to keep you rolling for longer. The bearings used are the K2 ABEC 9's and to top it all off Madd have used their awesome MGP composite flex brake.
