ATBShop Skate Warehouse is the ideal place to host your next birthday party, no matter what your age is! Our skate park is available for exclusive hire all year round and is ideally located just outside of Swindon’s town centre. Available days to book are; during the week from 6pm, Saturdays from 4pm and Sundays between 10am and 12pm and from 4pm.
There are two options for exclusive use birthday parties, the prices depend on how many riders you’re bringing to use the park and both last for two hours.
- Option 1 – £160 – 2 hours park use for up to 20 riders
- Option 2 – £190 – 2 hours park use for up to 30 riders
If you’d like food or extra drinks at your party, feel free to bring your own along or we can arrange a 50% discount from Domino’s Pizza delivered direct for you!

Birthday party terms & conditions
- All personal equipment brought in must pass our normal safety checks for your own and other users protection. i.e. all Scooters or Bikes must have to have bar ends, no metal pedals, pegs or sharp objects. All under 18 years must wear appropriate helmets and protection equipment.
- Birthday parties are only booked and secured with a 50% nonrefundable deposited for the party package which you select. Please make sure you are 100% sure and are happy with your date as you will not be able re-book or switch dates after a date is reserved.
- You must give at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation or you will be liable for the full amount due to staffing costs and set up fees. You will still lose your deposit but will not incure and further charges. As I’m sure you will appreciate we only do this because you will be preventing another birthday party from taking place as we are always over subscribed.
- All cancellations must be in writing, otherwise full payment will be taken.
- All scooters must be safe to ride in the park – Scooters must have bar ends or grips covering the ends. If you aren’t sure what this means then please call us on 01793 523244. Scooters without bar ends or grips will not be allowed into the park. If you’d still like to take the scooter in then you will be required to purchase some on the night. This is for reasons of safety.
- We also do not allow pegs into the park so please make sure they are removed prior to the party. If you chose to remove them on the night then please be reminded that you will need to bring a set of axles with you or you will have to purchase a set on the night.
- We have 15 scooters which can be used but if there is more required then the children will have to share or you can use the 5 skate boards that we have – Please bare in mind if you invite over 15 kids without scooters then they will need to share.
- We also have 30 helmets but please be aware that they’re of mixed sizes so if you have a large group of younger children then there may not be enough if you have 10 kids all with the same head size.

Birthday Party FAQ’s
I want to book a party, how do I secure a date?
When you have chosen the date you are after and you are 100% sure, then call us on 01793 523244 or pop in to store where we will take a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure that date. After the booking is made, we can not move the day so please make sure you are 100% happy with that time slot.
How can I check dates and times available?
Please feel free to call us on 01793 523244 and check the diary over the phone or you can email us at sales@atbshop.co.uk or pop in to store.
Can you pencil a party in or reserve a date?
Sorry we can’t reserve a date without a deposit as we are a popular party location. Please do not leave it too late once you have checked which dates are available as your preferred time slot may be snapped up by someone else.
What time slots do you have?
You can have your party on Weekdays after 6pm, Saturdays after 4pm and on a Sunday before 12pm and after 4pm
Is there free parking on site?
Yes, tons of free parking. If our car park is full and it’s a weekend please use Medlocks car park on the right of our building as an overflow.
Can we use our own equipment?
Yes, you can use your own equipment but please make sure it’s safe. Scooters must have a grip which covers the end of the handle bar or a bar end/plug fitted. There must be no sharp edges anywhere on the scooter. Skateboards must be well built and have no sharp edges on too.
How much equipment do you have for hire?
We have around 15 scooters of different sizes, one dirt scooter and about 5 skateboards. We also have around 30 different sized helmets to use. Please be aware that if you bring 30 children, all with the same size head, we won’t be able to have enough helmets to fit them all.
I want to play my own music is that possible?
Yes you can play your own music but make sure its on an MP3 player or iPod as we are unable to play CDs.
Can you provide food for my party?
We provide water and squash included but no-longer cater with buffet food. But we do have a 50% off code for Dominos Pizza so you can get hot tasty pizza delivered.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes you can bring your own food. We do not have much of a kitchen here so please make sure you bring cold food.
Can I bring party decorations?
Yes you can bring your own party decorations for around the seating area. We do not allow helium balloons though in the skatepark due to problems with our alarm system.
Can I bring drink?
You get free unlimited squash in your package but you can bring fizzy drinks of your choice in as well. You can not take any glass bottles into the park for health and safety reasons.
I want to have a BBQ in the garden.
You can either use our BBQ for an extra £10 including gas or bring your own but it must be safe.
Can we buy teas and coffees or other drinks?
Yes, teas are only £1.50 as are black coffees and lattes, cappuccinos and white coffees are only £2.00 each, all made from fresh ground coffee beans. We also have a vending machine which sells snacks and cold drinks.
Is there an age limit for those using the park?
Nope, we have riders from two and a half years of age upwards using the park. Please bare in mind if you have a young party, we will struggle with kitting out lots of small children. Most of our scooters are suitable for 5 years and above. We also have groups which hire the park out just to themselves so we are used to older groups hitting up the park too. ATBShop Skate Warehouse is a venue not just for kids!
Can I order Take-Away?
Of course! You can order Domino’s Pizza to be delivered to your party and best of all, you will get a 50% discount on the price. You can order your pizzas online when you get to the skate park so there’s no need to pre-order.
Can I hire a park supervisor/instructor?
Yes you can. All of our parties have two members of staff on site who are first aid trained to help you with your party. These will help you set up your party and help you with hire equipment and first aid incidents during the party. Once in the park we do ask party organisers to supervise their party and inform us of any issues which they require help with. The cost of an extra instructor/supervisor in the park is only £30 per hour which must be booked in advance of the party.
