We need our council, along with other councils up and down the country to sit up and take notice. The local Oasis skatepark has become a second home to many young riders (metaphorically speaking) and their friends, and for this reason we need to protect it from the developers who want to take it away. Skate parks are seen as fantastic outlet for young people. We\u2019ve added some new categories in this year and some new pointers to make it fair for all. If you aren&#8217;t sure which category you are best in then please discuss it with us in store.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Beginner Scooter \u2013 8\u2019s and under<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Aged 8 years and below<br \/>\nNot Sponsored or have fan page<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Novice Scooter \u2013 10\u2019s and under<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Aged 10 years and below<br \/>\nNot Sponsored or have fan page<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Pro scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any advanced rider aged 12 years and below.<br \/>\nRiders who are sponsored by a shop, scooter company or brand.<br \/>\nRiders that have a fan page on Facebook or Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Girls Only Scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any age<br \/>\nAny ability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novice Scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Over 10 years but must never have competed before.<br \/>\nNo Sponsored riders or riders with fan pages<\/p>\n<p><strong>Intermediate Open Scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Over 10 years.<br \/>\nPrevious competitive experience (not a prev. URG Podium)<br \/>\nMust not be sponsored or have fan pages On Facebook or Instagram<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro Scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Advanced Riders<br \/>\nRiders who are sponsored by a shop, scooter, company or brand.<br \/>\nOr\/and have a fan page on Facebook or Instagram<\/p>\n<p><strong>Street Scooter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any age<br \/>\nAny ability<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skate Novice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any age, not sponsored or have fan pages<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skate Open<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Advanced skaters<br \/>\nAll skaters sponsored by a shop, skate, company or apparel.<br \/>\nOr\/and have a fan page with over Facebook or Instagram<\/p>\n<p><strong>BMX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any age<br \/>\nAny ability<\/p>\n<p><strong>* Please note if you have previously placed on a URG Podium in a category you should move up to the next category of age\/ability.
