Well what a year 2015 was!!
So much went down at ATBShop Skate Warehouse Swindon’s only indoor skatepark in the last 12 months… Here’s just some of the highlights:
In April we hosted the very first Urban Rider Games which was a massive success. We saw just under 100 competitors enter
this high adrenaline competition and around 200 spectators descended on the park to watch and cheer on their friends and

In July the team from ATBShop rubbed shoulders with the stars at NASS as Diana and Stu hooked up with skateboarding legend

Here at ATBShop Skate Warehouse we’re always looking for the next fresh event to host and in August we held the very first
Girl Skate Event! Local girls got to join some of the best female skateboarders in the county as they rode the ramps at
Swindon’s only indoor skate park.
Excitement reached fever pitch in October as here at ATBShop, we celebrated our 15th Birthday! To mark the occassion we
closed down the park for 3 days while we re-built the newly designed skate park and unveiled it with a massive Party in the
Park with a little help from out friends at VW Commercial Vehicles Swindon! Did you come and celebrate with us?

In another first for ATBShop Skate Warehouse, in November we played host to 17 pro scooter riders who came and demonstrated
their talents to a park full of local riders! The atmosphere was electric as riders from Lucky, Phoenix, Crisp, Grit and
District shred the park alongside some of our fantastic local talent.
We finished the year with a bang, hosting a huge Christmas Skate Only session where loads of riders won some awesome skate
related prizes including new decks worth over fifty quid! Santa came and visited our Kids Club on the run up to the big day
and handed out some early gifts too and we even opened our doors on Boxing Day for a three hour post Christmas party!
Add to that little lot the heap of free skate, scoot and BMX events we held in association with Street Games Swindon, the
(almost) world famous 12 hour skate and scoot events and the massive amount of birthday parties that were held in the park
and you get a full year of awesome at Swindon’s only indoor skatepark!
We’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone that supported us in 2015; whether you were a company that supported one of
our many events, if you bought something in one of our shops, came and rode the skatepark, held your birthday party with us
or simply baked a few cakes for one of our many charity fun days… THANKS, we wouldn’t be here without you!
