It’s that time of year again when we try and do our bit to help a local charity.
We’ve chosen the Prospect again as we really want to help local Street Games Swindon coordinator Charlie Paradise, smash her Prospect target of £2000.00. You can find out more about this here.
Charlie has already hit her target but we wanted to send her way over the 2k mark in memory of Becky Rowland who was another Street Games Coordinator. Sadly Becky lost her fight with cancer earlier this year at the Prospect, so we thought it was a fitting tribute to carry on raising money in her name. ATBShop and Street Games Swindon have been long term partners running many youth activity’s over the years – free skates and BMX nights, graffiti workshops and town centre events.
As always half the skate park entry money will be going to the Prospect charity. Make sure you bring lots of pennies as there will be a a charity cake stall, so please mums and dads get baking so we can raise lots of extra cash on the day. The Cake Stall will also act as an arena of battle as we present The Great British Fake Off. Yes we know it sound like a rip off of something similar but that’s purely coincidental, honest! We want loads of you to show off your baking skills and enter your cake to see if it’s good enough to win one of our fun prizes.
The day is going to be jam packed with loads of other fun activity’s and fun games too including the almost world famous ATBShop BBQ plus you have the chance to battle it out with your friends in our sumo suits!! There will be more activities announced closer to the time. There will also be another chance to tie dye a Limited Edition ATBShop 15 Year Anniversary T-Shirt. If you’ve already bought one then bring it along for us to tie dye or if you’d like to buy one then they will be available on the day for only £12 per tee including your dying fee.
The sessions run from 10am to 12pm for 10 and unders with face painting, then there’s two mixed sessions between 12pm and 3pm and 3pm to 6pm. No need to book just turn up. The 10 and unders session costs just £5 and the mixed sessions are just £6 each.
