For anyone who’s looked at the recent plans for the refurbishment and re-development of the Oasis Leisure Centre, you will find the free outdoor skatepark, cycle speedway and BMX track are nowhere to be seen.
The text at the side of the plans say they will be included but the developers have said there are no firm plans to incorporate these free outdoor activity spaces as part of their new site development.
Lets all get together and show them that Swindon wants the Oasis skatepark, cycle speedway and BMX track saved from the developers for further generations. It’s the BEST FREE outdoor skatepark in Swindon and one of only a handful of cycle speedways left in the country!
