Diana and Stuart, the owners of ATBShop and ATBShop Skate Warehouse, set up ATBShop 15 years ago out of Stuart’s bedroom at his parent’s house. Today they’ve grown their little start-up internet business into a international company based in Swindon. They ship their extreme sports products all over the world and with some of ATBShop’s profits, they set up an indoor skate park for the locals in the back of their warehouse.
July the 11th 2015 marked Diana and Stuart’s 6th year wedding anniversary and 14th year anniversary of their first date and trip to NASS – National Adventure Sports Show; so they thought it would be very fitting to celebrate with a trip back to NASS. One of their kind distributors discovered it was their wedding anniversary so added them on the list to meet the skating legend Tony Hawk.
Tony, along with fellow skating legend Kevin Staab from the Birdhouse team, signed an official merchandise card for Diana and Stuart when they met the team at their official meet and greet. Diana also managed to catch a free official Hawk T-shirt at the vert demo at NASS. Diana had to really wrestle for this prize as some lad at the side of her tried grabbing it off her! They also managed to grab a few extra bits of memorabilia and merchandise and have made them into an eBay auction to help raise money for the charity – Shelter.
Shelter helps the homeless which is very fitting for Diana and Stuart because, through ATBShop, they have been helping some local riders who have been unfortunate enough to be made homeless. Diana and Stuart have been helping the local riders find jobs and housing recently so wanted to highlight their plight by listing this eBay auction for their homeless charity.
