STX Race 12ft 6in x 30in x 6in 2021 Ex Demo SUP

This board is an EX demo board, meaning that it has been slightly used but it is till in a good condition. This is a great way to get a massive discount on products which are  slightly more expensive.  The board comes complete with Bag, pump, fin.   There isn't any damage on the board only as few muddy marks, a major bargain and a great way to get a very high quality board for a LOT less money! The STX Race board is perfect for river touring and on the sea. It's design is race led but without the super narrow waists of most full on race boards. The 12ft 6in x 30in version is super similar to the Naish One race board but obviously won't let you enter the races! There is also the 32in wide version which just gives a bit more stability and volume for a larger rider or someone who wants a more stable ride. Not that the 30in wide version is unstable but at slower speeds then it does reduce stability a little. The maneuverability and tracking are great on both sizes with it able to hold a straight line great and also pivot on the tail when you need it to in the corners. The new FXL material has suddenly given these boards a huge weight and stiffness advantage at an amazing price! 

The new FXL Material is super high specification for the price and has really raised the bar on the STX Boards! Check the video below from independent review magazine, they were blown away with the material for the price!

Our Opinion:

We  have been really impressed with the ride and build quality of the STX SUP boards at a great price for the whole package. The only negative opinion from us is that, honestly the included paddle is not amazing but is perfectly serviceable to get you going and then you can always upgrade to a lighter more performance paddle in time. Saying this, the board is the value here and the paddle included is great for beginners and will get you started.
