Hitting the terrain park? Or some sendy side hits? The union strata is a perfect balance between a soft, 'surfy' feeling without compromising in control.
The Union Strata is one of the industry leading snowboard bindings built for someone that wants to hike the terrain park all day getting clips for the Instagram, sending some silky butters all over the mountain or the people slashing pow in search for the biggest side hit they can find. The Strata can do it all.
With an amazing damping/cushioned bushing under foot, it helps with dampening the crazy landings and trying to cushion and absorb. It still however, offers you great control using their Duraflex highback and baseplate to give you that mid-flex feeling to be able to cruise around the mountain and get some cool pops and presses, without losing the ability to turn and carve comfortably.
This year, the Strata gets the old Ankle and toe strap from previous Union Ultra bindings, which are a binding that aims to do a similar thing to the Strata with some more technology and a higher price point. Something that Union have always been good at is giving the more 'price point' bindings previous premium features. So the Ankle and heel strap on the Stratas have been upgraded to the Ultra strap which is going to give you a comfortable, cushioned fit whilst also being lightweight and responsive.
