STX Cruiser WDS Inflatable Paddleboard Pack
For those that want a faster freeride board than the standard round nose then there is the STX Cruiser . This is the Woven Drop Stitch Construction. Very durable but great value construction.
The STX Cruiser is all about cruising about and small waves plus great tracking and glide so is capable of everything. There are two sizes we offer the 10ft 5in x 32in x 6in is the average adult size. Then the 11ft 6in x 33in and 6in thick is more volume and stability for most larger adults. STX produce quality products from the worlds leading suppliers and this board is no exception with great density of dropstitch, top quality PVC and glues. This Cruiser is the WDS Version that uses the Woven Drop Stitch construction which is the more budget friendly STX construction than their top end FXL boards. Still offers great stiffness and super light weight but not quite as stiff as the FXL. The boards still have full double layer rail durability and all the extras you would expect.
Please note the colour is a bit different to the manufacturers pictures. We have taken some photos and tried to colour match better. The STX pictures are more teal but it's actually more royal blue.
The dependable WDS Material is super good for the price and has offered STX a more budget friendly option without loosing quality.
The STX Cruiser 10ft 6in and 11ft 6in both have a single slide in centre fin so has great tracking and versatility. The rocker line and profile of the board also helps straight tracking and glide in both smooth conditions and choppy water. The slightly tapered nose and squared tail also makes it perform great in small waves on the beach.
With the WDS package then it still comes with the leash pump and paddle so you are ready to go. But it comes with the standard alloy paddle and a simpler pump and bag than the premium FXL boards but it is still perfectly serviceable for most paddlers and a great priced package.
