The Hillbilly Dirt Gear Padded Shorts are designed especially for mountainboarding. The shorts have pads in all the right places the mesh layer is light and breathable to keep cool in the summer.
The shorts are cooler than the Grit-X shorts but do not offer the same level of padding. That being said they are a great short that works excellent. As the Hillbillies say "Protect yer Ass!"
