Weighing in at only 1630g with the Avabag system inside the Crossrider 18 is remarkably lightweight and features enough space to fit all of your essential avalanche gear and more! Complete with a AVABAG Unit this system is proven to be an effective safety measure against avalanches and once deployed, the air bag will help keep your head above the slide and help protect against any impacts.
Built for the wildest of descents the Crossrider comes in a compact design that wont sacrifice mobility but at the same time offers plenty of additional features for carrying snowboards, skis, snowshoes, ice axe, helmet, keys and even a hydration system! Its close-fit foam back panel offers great comfort by contouring to the natural curvature of your back while offering support and weight distribution from the hip belt. Secured using a heavy duty aluminium locking clasp the Cross Rider will stay locked firmly in place while riding and in the event of the airbag being deployed in an avalanche.
You can practice deploying the AVA Bag System without the use of a canister (SOLD SEPERATELY) to get the feel of deploying it quickly. NOTE: The airbag will not deploy properly without a canister and one needs to be purchased and fitted before your trip.
