This truly vintage shaped board combines all the aggressive characteristics found in a classic directional camber with all the mod cons for enhanced response and versatility across any terrain you decide to tear up. Of course this board lives for the deep powder but will hard charge any mountain line as well as provide some deep carves with some fine edge holds on the piste. Primarily the free ride, all mountain board of the range, the Sims Blade features a shorter rockered nose section than your typical freeride boards of this kind giving it a more obvious directional riding style, but thats not to say switch is impossible on this board! This rockered nose or 'micro early rise' also massively enhances the Blade's performance amongst the pow while annihilating any churned/ torn up snow on the piste in your way.
Breaking down the tech of this incredible blast from the past we have a quad carbon V tip and tail for added torsional leverage in your turns offering superior carvability. This bundle of carbon V shapes comes with a mid to firm flexibility throughout the board offering masses of stability at high speeds without sacrificing its ability to be ridden on the steeps, bumps and if you're brave enough tree runs! An RDS2 dampening system and elastomer underfoot stabilisers keeps the any chatter at bay while the legendary vario power grip side cut will keep those carves in check throughout the mountain.
A super fast Durasurf sintered 4501 base completes the classic ride by breaking the technology barriers of the twenty first century and proving to everyone that old is still cool!
This board is for anyone looking to really get their carve on in any conditions throughout the mountain. Truly a classic all mountain destroyer that anyone can enjoy a trip back in time.
