The idea of the Fish came about when Dixie who is one of the main guys at Roots Longboards wanted to take a Pin on holiday. When the board was to big for travelling, he chopped of the tail and the fish was born. Small enough to fit into a suitcase, or a great option for  anyone commuting around cities where catching buss or train is necessary. 

Roots Longboards Fish V2 Longboard Deck is hand shaped and pressed in Oxfordshire using only the best of Canadian Maple with California Walnut veener. It is one of the most popular of the Roots longboard range and for a good reason, the compact mini cruiser is beautifully crafted with a fish tail. Ideal for quickly popping to the shops, surfing round at the local bowl or cruising around your local area. Responsive and snappy on turns making this board a carving dream.

Fish V2 improves on the original design, not only in materials and construction but also in responsiveness and performance . Made with a slightly thinner tail the Fish V2 by Roots has advantage of avoiding wheel bite by having wheel wells. With a stunning Californian Walnut Veneer, finished by hand to highest standard.
