Orangatang Knuckles are responsive in their design providing a harder carve and more play then their little brothers the Nipples. Two unique shaped bushing for highly responsive and customizable turning. Compatible with most trucks, the Knuckles have a snug fit around the kingpin for maximum performance and response. The insert barrel bushing features a small step to fill in the space between the kingpin and the hanger which reduces the play in the truck providing a precise response. Theses top bushings are a smooth gumdrop design with subtle blend of the more traditional cone and barrel shape providing the agility of cone but the stability of a barrel bushing. Also the added of a gumdrop design is that the rounded edge of the bushing provides a ultra smooth turn initiation, providing you a stable ride to push for out for slides.
Made from the Orangatang famous Randy Thane formula for high rebound and extremely responsive, superior to most stock bushings. In the standard configuration the barrel bushing is placed at the bottom and the gumdrop bushing on the top. Much like the traditional barrel/cone setup but like most Orangatang products you can experiment with your bushing setup by switching out either barrel or gumdrop with a the Orangatang Nipples to find that perfect riding style for you.
While both Knuckles and Nipples use Randy urethane, the two bushing sets offer very distinct difference and characteristics. Nipples are great for the rider who seeking out a maximum rebound bushing for pumping or carving yet wants a lively supportive turn and reduced wheelbite. Whilst the Knuckles are designed for a rider seeking out quicker responsive from edge to edge and deeper craving.
Knuckles are compatible with most reverse-kingpin trucks (including Paris, Bear, Randal, Carver, Gullwing, Tracker, Caliber, Atlas, Bolzen, Aera, Rogue, PNL, Ronin, etc) Because Knuckles are slightly taller than most stock bushing, compatibility may vary.
