A Tech Deck, or finger skateboard, is a full working replica (about 1:8 scaled) skateboard that you 'ride' with your fingers. These Tech Decks come with real trucks and real wheels. The graphics on these boards are replicas or real skateboard brands that have been popular over the past 50 years. 
Tricks done on a Tech Deck are all inspired from real skateboarding tricks and is a brilliant way not only to have fun, but to understand the way skateboard tricks work before transferring this new knowledge onto full sized skateboards.
